Our second physical activity to recommend to your child is martial arts. Martial arts combines the idea of adventure and excitement, with concepts of confidence, honour, security and the idea of supernatural skills, and thus are appealing to the children. Be aware that a traditional martial arts school places a big emphasis on responsibility, self-control, and discipline, rather than confrontation attitudes and force, and so do not be hesitant to enrol your kids in martial arts. Martial arts improve a child’s self confidence, and be able to learn self defence skills that are practical while at the same time have fun in doing the activities that help them develop their flexibility, fitness and agility.

Having your kids enrolled in swimming lessons is another great idea.
